About

Fulfilling Our Community’s Basic Needs.

Beyond the Pantry supports local organizations by fulfilling the health, hygiene, cleaning, and personal care needs of their members, helping care for needs “beyond the (food) pantry.” When we work together to procure and distribute these products to existing groups, we amplify our collective impact, and members of our community gain dignity, health, hygiene, and the opportunity to thrive.

About Us

Working Together to End Basic Needs Insecurity in Tallahassee, FL.

Beyond the Pantry (est. 2021) is a Tallahassee-based non-profit that sources and shares basic-needs products: the expensive necessities of life beyond food that many of us take for granted.

FUND

Hygiene products, undergarments, household supplies, and paper products are essential basics — but they are expensive and aren’t covered by SNAP.

We fundraise to help supply these pricey products at an affordable bulk rate, serving many existing organizations.

SOURCE

Our non-profit focuses on pooling donations and wishlists to source essentials at an affordable bulk rate, serving existing mutual aid and charitable groups.

We focus on sourcing behind the scenes so organizations can focus on their essential work.

SHARE

A wide range of amazing groups in Tallahassee have built vibrant communities that offer food and shelter.

We know these relationships are key to this work! We help amplify these efforts by giving groups basic needs sundries in bulk to share!

Want to contribute?

There are many ways to give to this growing effort: in-kind donations from your cupboards, purchasing off of our established wishlists, and donating funds to support our bulk orders of socks, undergarments, and other pricey essentials.

Want to volunteer?

We are currently building our non-profit’s capacity, and volunteers are needed for board members service, packing up supplies, and delivering to the organizations we serve! We would be delighted for you to join our all-volunteer team – email us to express interest.
