What began as an informal collaboration among a group of friends during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic has grown into a full-fledged nonprofit organization that works to fortify the stocks of local food pantries.

Beyond the Pantry is one of nine non-profits that the Beatitude Foundation and #GiveTLH, a community effort of local philanthropist Rick Kearney, is recognizing with a $1,000 grant. The #GiveTLH series shares the each organization’s story in the Tallahassee Democrat from now until November.

Once each story is published, readers can vote for a nonprofit. The top three organizations will receive a larger Beatitude Foundation grant. We will keep the Blog updated with details on how to vote once each story is published!
